چکیده

Understanding the impact of smartphone-based multimodal information (SMMI) on travellers' P&R (park-and-ride) choice behaviour is very limited so far. The purpose this study to better understand how SMMI, social network information, and individual characteristics influence mode choices. A stated preference experiment consisting one option two auto-driving routes was conducted collect car commuters’ data in Shanghai, China. panel mixed logit model utilized determine influencing factors. It found that model, accounting for correlations among repeated observations same respondent random taste, significantly outperforms cross-sectional multinomial terms goodness-of-fit. Specifically, travellers are highly sensitive offered by SMMI travel time, parking fare, crowding level subway cars, heterogeneities do exist preferences these In positive propensity online reviews about play a role promotion. addition, including gender, age, occupation, years driving, experience all contribute explaining P&R. Finally, elasticity analysis reveals commuters more satisfied with time than cross demonstrates substitution effect private cars.

Dynamic Pricing under a Logit Choice Model

We consider a stylized dynamic pricing model in which a monopolist prices a product to a sequence of customers, who independently make purchasing decisions based on the price offered according to a logit choice model. The parameters of the logit model are unknown to the seller, whose objective is to determine a pricing policy that minimizes the regret, which is the expected difference between t...

A Bayesian Mixed Logit-Probit Model for Multinomial Choice

In this paper we introduce a new flexible mixed model for multinomial discrete choice where the key individualand alternative-specific parameters of interest are allowed to follow an assumptionfree nonparametric density specification while other alternative-specific coefficients are assumed to be drawn from a multivariate normal distribution which eliminates the independence of irrelevant alter...

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model

over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

DRAFT Identification of the Logit Kernel ( or Mixed Logit ) Model

Logit Kernel is a discrete choice model that has both probit-like disturbances as well as an additive i.i.d. extreme value (or Gumbel) disturbance à la multinomial logit. The result is an intuitive, practical, and powerful model that combines the flexibility of probit (and more) with the tractability of logit. For this reason, logit kernel has been deemed the “model of the future” and is becomi...

Semiparametric Multinomial Logit Models for Analysing Consumer Choice Behaviour

The multinomial logit model (MNL) is one of the most frequently used statistical models in marketing applications. It allows to relate an unordered categorical response variable, for example representing the choice of a brand, to a vector of covariates such as the price of the brand or variables characterising the consumer. In its classical form, all covariates enter in strictly parametric, lin...
